Copyright Administrative Law Enforcement Training Class Held in Qingdao

On February 19, 2009, the Qingdao Copyright Administration sponsored a software copyright administrative law enforcement training class in Qingdao, in order to enhance law enforcement officials’ professional abilities and better their enforcement. The class is also aimed at promoting the legalization of enterprises’ software. More than 50 officials attended the class.

Participants received information primarily on software copyright laws and software copyright law enforcement practices during the class.

Zhao Xiujun, the Vice Director of the Qingdao Copyright Administration, said: “With the promotion of these enterprises’ software legalization efforts, we will take more actions to prevent the use of illegal software by various enterprises. We have to enhance our law enforcement officials’ ability to adapt to this new situation. This class will promote copyright protection in Qingdao and help us to build an innovative city.”
